• 【Eligibility】
  Sanyo-San'in Northern Kyushu PASS is a special train ticket that can only be purchased by a foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad for sight-seeing, under the entry status of "temporary visitor.".
  If you are unable to turn in your Exchange Order for a pass because you fail to meet the exchange conditions, you will not be eligible to receive any compensation from the JR Group for use of JR lines during your stay in Japan.
  
  "Temporary Visitor" entry status, according to Japanese Immigration Law, allows a stay in Japan of 15 days or 90 days for "sight-seeing, etc." If you apply for a "stay for sight-seeing" when you enter Japan, entry personnel will stamp your passport as "Temporary Visitor". Only people who have a passport bearing this stamp can use a Sanyo-San'in Northern Kyushu PASS.
• 【Exchange】
  The name on the exchange voucher needs to be exactly the same as the name in your passport.
  　
  When exchanging the voucher you would need to present your passport along with proper documentation in order to prove your eligibility.
  The activation date of the pass, once the pass has been exchanged, can no longer be changed.

  This rail pass is valid for the following:
  ・Reserved seats on SANYO SHINKANSEN (Shin-Osaka⇔Hakata)(This pass can be used for "Hello Kitty Shinkansen".)
  ・Reserved seats on KYUSHU SHINKANSEN (Hakata⇔Kumamoto)
  ・Reserved seats on Nishi-KYUSHU SHINKANSEN(Takeo-Onsen⇔Nagasaki)
  ・Reserved seats on Limited Express Train　HARUKA,YAKUMO, SUPER HAKUTO, YUFUIN NO MORI etc.
• (For reserved seating, ensure you book your seats before boarding the train.Non-reserved seating is not available on trains with exclusively reserved seats.)
  ・These JR-KYUSHU trains below have all reserved seats.YUFUIN NO MORI, ASO BOY!, A-TRAIN, KAWASEMI YAMASEMI, TWO STARS 4047
  ・Special Rapid Services, Rapid Services, and Local trains on JR-WEST and JR-KYUSHU JR Lines.
  ・JR WEST MIYAJIMA FERRY (Miyajimaguchi⇔Miyajima)
  ・The pass is only valid on WEST JAPAN JR BUS(route buses),JR Bus Chugoku(route buses and “Super Hagi”bus) and JR Kyushu Bus(Hitahikosan Line BRT).
  It is a personal pass meant for only one person. Always carry your passport along with the Pass. The station staff may check the passport for validity.
• These trains below cannot be used
  ・Bullet Train "TOKAIDO SHINKANSEN" (Shin-Osaka⇔Tokyo)
  ・Bullet Train "KYUSHU SHINKANSEN" (Kumamoto⇔Kagoshima-Chuo)
  ・Twilight Express MIZUKAZE, Seven Stars in Kyushu and “ARU RESSHA” trains.
  ・Fukuoka City Subway between Hakata Station and Fukuoka Airport.

  ・Separate charges apply when reserving and using the Special Rapid “A Seat” paid seating service.
  ・These buses below cannot be used：B&S Miyazaki buses, Kyoto City buses.
• 【Booking】
  With the Pass, no additional fee is required when reserving seats.(Travelers wishing to use a Green Car must pay the limited express fare in addition to the Green class surcharge.)All seats on the Ltd. Exp. Hokuto, Ltd. Exp. Suzuran, Ltd. Exp. Ozora, and Ltd. Exp. Tokachi are reserved. There are no non-reserved seats on the trains above. Please make sure to receive a reserved seat ticket before boarding. (Seat reservation cannot be made on the train.)
  To access the platforms, show your pass and/or your ticket to the JR staff located at the gate to the platform.
  To reserve a seat, go to see the agents at the JR ticket office in Japan.
