Recruitment - Tour Guide

Location: New York
Looking for cheerful and healthy tour guides who love to take care of tourists. (Driver's license needed)

Recruitment - Internship and Optional Practical Training

Support staffs are being recruited in each section.
Qualifications: A university student in the United States. (Visa support possible after OPT)

Recruitment - Full-time Worker

Locations: New York, Boston, Miami and San Francisco.
Qualifications:
US University graduates or future graduates (Major: Economics, Business, Travel & Tourism, or Tourism Management), Visa support available.
Candidates who already have US permanent residency/citizenship or a US working visa are preferred.
Candidates must intend to stay in the US for at least 2 or 3 years
overtime allowance, paid holidays, sick days, summer vacation, raise, bonus, health insurance (available after training period), in-house discount policy, and 401k plan.

International Tours Co., Ltd., H.I.S.’predecessor, is established with ￥10 million capital.
1981
License as retail agency（No. 3034） is obtained from Ministry of Transportation.
H.I.S. begins selling other company branded package tours.
1984
Osaka office opens.
1985
Hong Kong office opens.
1986
License as general travel agency （No. 724） is obtained from Ministry of Transportation.
Nagoya office opens.
Fukuoka office opens.
1989
Launched “Ciao”, H.I.S.’first tour package.
“Avanti and Oasis” division is established in Shimbashi office.
1990
Company name is officially changed to H.I.S. Co., Ltd.
H.I.S. Internal computer system“WING” is put into operation.
H.I.S. is appointed official IATA agency.
“Business” division is established.
1991
“Group Tour” division is established.
1993
Head office moves to Shinjuku for consolidation and expansion of operations.Travel Wonderland, a department store for international services, opens.
1994
Chubu, Kansai and Kyushu headquarters consolidate and expand,and Travel Wonderlands open in each region to become the largest retail offices in those areas.
1995
H.I.S. Company stock is offered over the counter.
World Navigation System, a new travel information center utilizing multivision and other advanced facilities is established at the Travel Wonderland Shinjuku 1F.
1996
The homepage opens.
H.I.S. membership system is launched in east Japan.
H.I.S. opens its first world class hotel, The Watermark Hotel Gold Coast,now Hotel Watermark,in Australia.
Skymark Airlines launches.
1998
Skymark Airlines begins operation on September 19 between Tokyo（Haneda） and Fukuoka.
2000
Founded subsidiary, Howa Travel Service, now Orion Tours.
Founded subsidiary, Map International Co., Ltd, now ATB.
2001
H.I.S. opens“H.I.S. travelling-abroad navi” as a formal site in i-mode.
2002
Founded subsidiary, Cruise planet Co., Ltd,.
Opening of specialized travel desk at Travel Wonderland, main sales office, Shinjuku in conjunction with our 10-year anniversary.
Listed on second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2003
Installation of “Challenge”, our new computer system.
2004
Activated online reservations system.
Listes on first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2005
Second hotel in Australia. Hotel Watermark Brisbane, opened.
Kyushu Industrial Transportation Co., Ltd., now Kyushu Sangyo Kotsu Holdings Co.,Ltd., headquartered in Kumamoto, Kumamoto Prefecture, incorporated into the H.I.S. Group.
2006
Launched Watermark Hotel Japan Co.,Ltd.
Launched new inbound tourism company, H.I.S. Experience Japan Co.,Ltd.
